OBJECTIVES OF THE CLUB
Dundee Ski Club was started in 1936 and through its members helped to build Glenshee into a Scottish Ski Centre.
Today, Dundee Ski Club exists for its members for the benefit of snow sport, to encourage participation and to promote friendship and social interaction amongst people with this common interest.
The club allows people to create a forum to talk about snow sport, organize trips to the Scottish slopes, learn more about the sport
through organized training events and attend social gatherings.
SNOWBOARDERS
Although known as Dundee Ski Club, snowboarders are welcome to join, as we are encouraging an active snowboard section.
PERFORMANCE TRAINING
As part of the Glenshee Performance Squad (GPS), the club offers subsidised tuition for all standards of young people and for Masters.
The training is exclusively for members of Dundee, Blairgowrie, Braemar, Aberdeen and Arbroath Ski Clubs. It is run in blocks of four weeks on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Kirsty Muir - Success
Dundee Ski Club member, Kirsty Muir is a Scottish freestyle skier representing Great Britain who competed in the big air and slopestyle events at the 2022 Winter Olympics. She came second in the big air event at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics and third in the big air and slopestyle events at the 2023 X Games.

Club Activity Days
Organised during the ski season for members to ski together at any of the Scottish Ski Centres, snow conditions permitting. Locally Glenshee, Glencoe or The Lecht are easily accessible.
